Be a Sunseed Ambassador!

There are many ways in which you can help Sunseed: donations are important for us, but without raising public awareness and spreading the words of Sunseed, this project couldn’t have become what it is now. For this reason, we know that we can rely on you, on your active, vigorous advocacy! Your support can help us to raise public awareness about the protection of our environment in a time when the need of such actions has never been greater.

We propose you to become one of our Ambassadors in the world to spread Sunseed work and to make, together, a world of difference!

 

 


 

Why becoming an Activist?

 

You can help and support us in many different ways from simply talking to your friends about Sunseed and its work, to organising fundraising activities or participating in school or Universities “Green Week”, give a talk about Sunseed, organising and running Sunseed Stall at Events and Festivals, putting up posters.

Online Communication is very important nowdays. We always need help in updating and improving the website and social media by creating online educational materials, posters, short news. Also there are many websites we can contact asking for a link to sunseed site or for free advertisement. You may also talk about Sunseed in your online network and share Sunseed news and updates with your friends.

Sunseed is an English charity and Spanish Assotiation. Our goal is to increase our income so more people can come and stay with us for a longer time.

 

Find attached a document with some proposals for your fundraising activity. By organising fundraising events for Sunseed you can come a pass some time with us for free. Check the benefits of organising a fundraising event here.

 

Sunseed collaborates with different magazines, journals and websites writing articles. This is the best way to spread our work and let the people know about Sunseed.

 

You can write general articles about Sunseed or even about specific projects that you are interested in either english and spanish. Please find in the link an example of past articles written in Ecohabitar spanish magazines.

What are you supposed to do?

 

You can help and support us in many different ways from simply talking to your friends about Sunseed and its work, to organising fundraising activities or participating to school or Universities “Green Week”.

Here there are some more proposal for your action:

  • Putting up posters, spreading leaflets

  • Virtual Volunteering e.g. internet research, Facebook and Twitter support

  • Translating text (especially English-Spanish)

  • Writing an article about Sunseed or your stay here

  • Giving a talk about Sunseed

  • Giving our placement pack to University Placement Officers or Careers Services and talking to them about us

  • Helping to run and organise a Sunseed stall at events
